Cambridge Chat (previously New Cambridge Students Entry 2004)

Alaric

Send me a PM a day or two before you're coming down to remind me, if it's next friday I don't think I've currently got anything that I'll be in a rush to move to production that day. I probably won't get away with giving you too much time, 15mins or so, but if you've got zone 1 tube you should drop in and you'll get free snacks. Especially if you're thinking of applying.

A.

Cool! Thanks for the invitation.

argh, seat racing in the morning!!!
Just got back from the winter head to head. How amusing.
Does anyone have the first five podcasts from the instant anatomy site?
Urgh...*dies*

Note to self: doing erg before an outing = really, really bad idea.
And you wonder why I don't row?

I'm too unfit. And lycra doesn't suit me. And.. erm... it involves early mornings and actual effort...

depends how long the erg was?
20 mins pyramid, first one of the term. I sucked at it.
Ah, the debauchery of last night...

Wrong. So wrong.

I'm just annoyed that the crossover has dodgy connectors on it, and i had to spend the last three quarters of an hour of the bop holding the damn XLR cables in place.

We lost all treble and bass on one side of the cellars, but no-one noticed! I think they were all too bladdered by that point...

You weren't the one who made off with Seth's rubber gloves, were you?

We noticed it all went a bit crappy at one point, but I think some of us just blamed it on the DJ-ing. But where was the Grease Megamix to finish?

I thought it was fun, even though nobody wanted my lovely *ahem* orange stripy socks. And I got assaulted by the Services Officer with a sticker.
Such a heavy night yesterday. I still ache.

Going to the partys of people with daddy's credit card = good wine.

I apparently had a good night. I don't remember this at all and maintain that I was sober.
Obviously. You'd remember it if you'd been drunk.

Are you coming to our formal tonight, Rhi?

Wasn't me.

It went completely wrong at the end. Not helped by the fact that the DnB night, due to the incompetance of their DJ, blew up one of the bass speakers meaning we now have to fork out £200 for a new speaker cone... Oh, and get the crossover sent away to be repaired, and hire another in the meantime. So much for our budget this year...

Oh, and the DJ chap (can't remember his name!) didn't hav ethe Megamix, and had Ray the porter standing behind him making him stop. Oh, and screaming "work, damn you!" at faulty equipment is quite fun, but doesn't actually make it work any better...

She assaulted me with a cushion and some sellotape! Bizarre. And it was probably one of my stickers, too...

I have work to do, also I have the curry on Tuesday, a formal on Wednesday and potentially another on Thursday - I may have died with too many formals in a week anyway...

Curse of Were-Rabbit... U... Suitable for people who are aged 4 or older...

When did you people first hear about K.T. Tunstall? I seem to have a period regarding popular music missing in my head.
Hmmm, difficult to say but around 3, 4 months ago?
