the disappointment of doing crap in the quiz last night....we came last!!! :tongue:

It's awful when that happens! I've never had to suffer the ignomony of coming last, second last and ante-penultimate place is were I usually end up :frown:

I just know nothing about films/music/etc!

The questions they asked were more for old people than us young'uns...i had no idea who lived on oildrum lane or whatever it was!!!

Quizzes are great so long as there's not much sport in them.

Yeah..they did really well...but when we all looked over into their corner and realised they were geeks...it made us feel better about ourselves. Not that i have anything against geeks....i'm sure they're lovely people! :smile:

Welcome back Helen! You've had nice weather for camping :smile:

We were expecting the Cambridge pub quizzes to be a bit less popular culture-based and possibly even to have some science questions - no such luck :frown:

So we play on the games machines in the bar instead, cos they have actual science questions - woo! A tip though if you want to do pub quizzing. Historians know EVERYTHING.
