Maybe so! But what she is actually doing is to allocate each task a fixed amount of "ticks". Once the task has used up all its allocated ticks, she'll switch to the next task. This has got nothing to do with women can multitask and men can't. She's merely simulating multitask.

Gah, hayfever sucks. Had a nice day in Grantchester meadows, save a massive attack just as I came to the Orchard to ahve tea and ice creams and my eyes were horrible and swollen and bloodshot all the way home. Gah!
I have hayfever, so what have I just done? Went to play frisbee in the fields (knee-high grass). I can't even describe the state I am in now. Would probably deserve a Darwin Award if they awarded it to people who are technically still living.
