Ni volas paroli esperanto!

or would it be esperanton, because it's the object of the sentance?

10 points to the person who translates this:

La hundo amis rigardi komputilojn
the dog likes to look at the computers????

musicboy wins, the "is" in amis signifies past tense
Yay, I'm getting there slowly with this. It's beautifully logical - Any idea where I could get a dictionary from? Maybe I'll have to go to foyles.

Sorry to interrupt your language learning!
I just got very excited over something quite mundane but I'm going to share it anyway! I've told my best mate, who now is convinced and told me that I've reached greater depths of freakness than she thought possible!

I hope that link works, if not click the ucas clearing link and A-Z subject Archaeology!

Dr Catherine Hills, as mentioned at the bottom of that article, interviewed me!!!
And if that's not exciting enough (!) it says she's a television archaeologist, in my interview we talked about that & archaeology's presentation in the media!! Unfortunately at the time I didn't know she was involved with all that & I quite fiercely criticised much of the archaeology on TV & admitted to not watching some of the programmes she'd mentioned!!

Wow, that's made my day! (Which really doesn't say much for my day does it?!)
where should we put our society? in gen chat? or to keep it elitist the cambridge forum?

and katie - wow! thats really cool!

I think we should keep it in the Cam sub- then we can oxford bash whenever we like!!

G
keep it here. When we get good we can go to GC and show our "talents"

You could even Oxford-bash in Esperanto. Although that would spoil the fun somewhat since they wouldn't know you were doing it

Katie - god, I'd be hugely excited if I saw one of my lecturers / DOSs mentioned in a paper or online site, or, most excitingly, the television...!! Tis not sad in the slightest! *sigh* I live in hope yet

Well...i was about to suggest that they'd be intelligent enough to decipher the esperanto and discover we were oxford bashing...but then i remembered they do go to oxford after all
