i've applied for 25% compsci, which is just natsci with one science as compsci for the first year. They've effectively classed me as a natsci anyways. Perhaps we met during interviews? I was there on the last day of interviews and I was the one with the last interview, so had to wait around ALLLLL day, so I met pretty much everyone that day. Although to be honest I can only remember one person, who was appklying for deferred entry in the same 25% compsci option as me, and I only remember her name cos I kept singing it: ROOOOOOXXANNE (you dont have to put on the red light). I'm really bad with names unless their the title of a song

LOL..I saw sting in concert once...Roxanne was one of the true highlights
My interviews were on the 19th..was that the last day? I don't remember talking to that many people..most people seemed to be doing history or english...or other dossy arts subjects (waits for fight to start)
People seem to be discussing accents. I, alas, am a bit posh. I tend to lose my "t"'s when home though. And some people say I sound South African/American - god knows why. Too much TV probably.
WOOOOOOO!!!! another pompey person!! where abouts you live?
I'm Kathy btw - PhysNatSci @ Newnham welcome to the thread!

i love sting/the police's music!
DOSSY?? actually, i'll (hopefully) b doing architecture, so although its an 'art' in the prospectus, there's a lot of science in it
Jeez..why does everyone post in the thread when i'm gone...are you all trying to tell me something???
Anyways....Welcome to the thread michelle!!! Nice to have you here
Aleem- i went up for interview on the 16th....so i think it's safe to say that i didn't see you there.
And KHL- i saw a few current students there...but didn't actually 'meet' them. However...one of them i think was about to get married??
And there was quite a distinctive bloke there with..i think it was a chessboard pattern in his hair...either that or rings of black and white emulating from the crown of his head . He also liked quizzing people on random trivia like...name the top ten biggest selling singles....Candle in the Wind- Elton John..the princess Di version....

PS- Michelle..i'll add you to the first post with a link to your pic
Okey dokey people....this was originally an idea that's has been done...but its was seemingly taken over by the people who are already at Cambridge! And other unis like Durham have thriving versions of this...so i pinched their idea...hehe!
So this thread is for prospective students only...as much as we love finding out about Cam from people who are already there, in the other thread we didn't really get a chance to find out about other Cambridge bound students (hopefully grades pending!).
I will begin...
Hello, i'm Geoff...hope to study law at Gonville and Caius College!
