I swore in a handful of my posts, but that's because people were irritating me. I got worked up a couple of times, that's all. I'm not gonna go into it too much though, it's a long story about whether I got a warning or not blah blah blah. Conclusion is that I should have my account back now, but I havent.

Haha, nice.

Aye my accent ... usually it fluctuates wit whomever I'm speakin to... and its not too consistent (cus I came to england when i was 11, and my english was pretty broken then... with a thick pakistani accent, which iiiii kind of fall back into from time to time... otherwise, i'm lovin the boro accent, maybe it'll make me standout down there for the better heheh)

so what u been upto last coupla days? i think i mite be goin campin tonite... that'll pass the time nicely... then i got paintballin tomorrow... then i can sleep durin the dayy into the day after tomorrow (cus ill be so knackered from campin and paintballin) - and that brings us tooooooo the the 16th... STILL 3 MORE DAYS TO GO !!! then i avent a clue as to what to do hahaha...

i think someone else also said this but as i finished my exams i thought "heh, i'm sure i've made the grade" but then immediately i thought back to what i needed to get the grade and how badly my exams had gone and i since then ive been secretly like "crickey, i wont manage to get it will i? dammnnn" and since then i keep goin back in my mind, over those essay questions n wish id answered em PROPERLY now... and what i hate most is the unconditional trust and confidence that my family n friends put in me... they're literally like "YOU'LL GET IT !!! YOU'RE BOUND TO" ... but i'm the only one who knows what the exams went like, innit? ARRRRGHHHHHHHHH

the olympics is my saviour - always a pleasure to watch. Although the brits seem to be messing up our chances, I watched the judo guy Fallun go out, that was harsh, in the last 5 seconds!

We Brits never win any sports. The government simply doesn't put enough emphasis on sport in the National Curriculum and in its spending. Not that everything is the government' fault though - british people are getting too fat to excercise anyway...

EDIT : aaaargh! I can't believe they'll start deciding who got their places or not tomorrow!

Paula Radcliffe is one of the only exceptions.

I think we're the fattest country, only behind the Americans for obesity levels or something... Although the US still have a large number of competitive athletes.
Ahhh I must share this experience with you all - please read it.

I was just pondering, when I thought back to the last two years, when our results were handed out to us... people have actually complained about this in our college... this is why...

I walked in through the front doors, and there was a red little arrow pointing to the right, towards the main hall. So then I took the right, and there were about 10 teachers (5 on your left and 5 on your right) making a little sort of corridor for you to walk through, saying goodmorning to you (do they not understand that a big wall of teachers freaks the crap out of us?).

Ok so this is the worst part... you walk into the hall through two big doors... and at the FAR END (yes FAR END), there is 1 desk, with one old receptionist lady sitting down, and about 150 envelopes in the box infront of her... and then you start walkin the mile... and the hall echoes with your own footsteps (honestly, it bloody does), and the curtains aren't opened, and so you get this somber, ominous feel, and you walk closer and closer, and she stares at ya all the time, ya feet echoing, you having to walk about 25 meters... and she jus goes "name?" ... and like every hears your trembly voice come through the big hall, out into the reception... and then you start the walk about, with the heavy f***ing envelope in your hand... its bloody horrendous...

Why couldn't they just... have a table at reception, where the sun shines so bright and beautiful, and a jolly teacher there who goes "whats ya name kid? ahhh here ya go."

I hate them flurkin schnits seriously... (oh and if you thought that this was an attempt at "creative writing" then no... it was just a conversational-style story-told... but believe me, its horrible making that big massive walk... honestly, and its so bad, that just about everyone commented on it) :frown:

we get our results in our study centre, which is basically just the old gym converted with some new paint and a carpet. We dont get any heavy envelope because our results are printed directly off the schools system from when they recieve the results, so we get one single white a4 piece of paper, and it just lists our results. It's not folded or anything, so you tend to look at it straight away.
Last year I spent about 20 minutes trying to interpret the UMS marks and all that which I'd been given, to see what overall grade I'd got... that was a hard hard task too, considerin that my hands were trembling...

Opening the envelope is the worst moment ever.

Umm...I really don't remember getting my results envelope...but I do remember opening it. I went off into a little wooded area adjacent to the lawn and opened them so that nobody could see my immediate reaction!!
Planning to do the same this year...
Haha that's a good plan of action... in fact, the only difference will be that where you went into the wooded area, I'll ave to walk to the big ICI and chemical-venting industrial estate opposite the school, over the 5 train-tracks... god its an unsightly place...
