I know, it's amazing the lengths that cam go to to distinguish between applicants nowadays!

Pancake making ability is one trait that is unfortunately not well recognised these days. However...the more discerning individuals among us (i took that from someones sig...lol..thanks whoever it is :tongue:) don't take it for granted! :smile:

Hmmm, I wonder whether the aerodynamic properties of different sized pancakes would affect the best cooking/tossing techniques?!? :tongue:

Ooh, it does. My (insane) Physics teacher made us discuss midget tossing for one lesson. It could probably be applied to pancakes. :redface:

yay you got back to pancakes...I am the pancake god...we are gonna have a pancake party, I'll arrange it and email y'all through CamSIS, so make sure you are getting emails through that system. Helenia and me are gonna co-host it.


and just because you might be interested: there was a university (it was cam, might have been imperial, but not totally sure) which came up with an equation for pancake tossing. It calculated the vector velocities required to flip the pancake perfectly given: pancake size, weight, mixture-pan stickiness factor, number of flips required, and a few other variables.

Both my parents want to go with me, but neither of them want to go with each other (they've been divorced 5 years), so one is taking me and the other is meeting us down there. Same as they did for the interview. Still haven't decided which one gets to take me down and which ends up with just a car full of my stuff!

They once had a huge argument at a parents evening at school, so I'm hoping to get rid of at least one of them as soon as possible after I get there, so at least they won't yell at each other in front of anyone important!

(if they do I'll run away and hide in the college bar :tongue: )

No, I'm going to keep them as far away from uni as possible. That way they won't even get the chance. On the otherhand my mum is very jewish-motherish if you know what I mean.
