Helen.. Look at it as an opportunity to make more friends whilst keeping your old ones.
It's a blessing really..
But I want those friends! I like them. Lots, in some cases and now I will only see them in passing in lectures, none of the bonding experiences like playing with dead people or anything like that. Other medics smell. I want the old crowd back.

Medics can be a bit unbalanced, can't you?!? Also have put another photo of myself on the "Photos of new students" thread. I took it yesterday.

that sucks. make up some excuse that you have stuff to do during your other classes so they need to switch your groups back?
argh 5 days left and i still have so much to do. Among sorting out these bloody speakers, I still have to buy a new guitar and lots of other things...ARGH!

Unless I suddenly get onto a Blues squad or something actually important, I think it's unlikely. They've got 300 students to co-ordinate, so my wanting to be with my old friends is a somewhat unimportant concern
And yes, I am unbalanced. I'll probably get used to the new people, but miss the old ones too, and we might hardly see each other.

It is a pity though because you really get used to some people being there don't you.

Yeah, there were some real characters around me last year and now we will hardly be together at all. It'll be weird, though I'm sure I'll like the new people. Even some of my best Clare buddies are going to be doing different things!

You'll be fine, i but the first time you're with the new lot you'll meet someone really great.

Thats a bit annoying.....our old sets have been split up into like 3/4 new sets, so its all different timetables......plus will probably hardly see the dissection kids around...
just come back from the devon freshers' lunch: there were only 12 people there! it was good food amd nice to meet some new people tho - there was even a guy going to selwyn!

sounds ok, better than bein at home ironing anyway.
Can I just say RAAAAA!!! at the 1B course co-ordinators! They've gone and switched round all my practical groups and timetables, so I'm not with any of my friends from other colleges, and only a few Clareites. I'm hardly going to see some of them now, it's not fair Grrr.

As has been said, at least we'll meet new people!
