Cambridge Chat (previously New Cambridge Students Entry 2004)

I can't believe the productivity on the thread is this slow. I've been away for a whole day and what was I greeted with? only 6 (5.5) pages of new posts. Arhe.. I am discusted.
Can someone tell me what time the Reading Freshers thing starts at tonight? 6 or 6.30?

Also... Did anyone/everyone get tickets or even a reply by email when they wrote off? Please PM me with an answer to these questions as I'm off out and don't want to have to search through the pages to get a reply..!

Go raibh maith agaibh go leir. /Thanks everybody.

please note that CamSIS will be going offline (with the rest of willaborp) from the evening of Thursday the 30th of September. This is temporary and due to the server transfer required before I go to cambridge!

ARGH IT'S TOO DAMN CLOSE!

I'm going to gaming the rest of the day away... just to keep my mind of the I'm-going-to-university thing that's happening.

Congratulations.

EDIT: the thread is always slow in the morning and it is slow as well in the afternoon. If we are lucky, or, with any luck at all, the thread would be lively for an hour near to midnight.

Contratulations.

Thank you.
I'm off gaming. See you lot later.

Thanks a lot Amy... I pick KT up from work at 4.30 so it'll be straight to Reading to leave her off at her parents and get them to take me down (parking in Reading is both harshly expensive and hard to find!)

Sorry for not attending Devon one... I couldn't convince KT to visit the Eden project and hate long drives by myself (TBH I usually set up my hands-free thing and force people to talk to me for hours to avoid boredom..!) :frown:

No doubt we'll meet at Will's coffee thing (not that I drink tea or coffee..!) or at Rosie's Passoa party (if she still wants the passoa...).

Ouch... that just triggered it for me, this time in four days i'll be at Cambridge, and I won't be coming home for 2 months... :frown: . I'm scared, I dunno if I want to go any more!! Anyone else getting increasingly worried?! although to be honest, one minute i'll really excited, and the next terrified!!

Nice one on the driving test btw, that's something I'm glad I never have to do again... unless I forget how to drive when i'm at cambridge!
Argh, i got up early (8.30) and i haven't had coffee yet or anythin to eat and i've just got home from a nostalgic trip to my old school!! Oh yea, the thread ain't moved on too much has it?

dont worry! its a long way and tbh you wren't missing that much!

i wont have time to miss my car! although i've had it for months now, i've only (obviously) gone out in it with my dad to practice etc. so i've got 4 days to enjoy my newfound freedom! i just went and took the L plates off tho- that was fun!

i know how you feel! i just keep thinking i'll be there this time next week and it scares the s**t out of me, but then i think this is such a great opportunity so i'd better go there, have fun and make the most of it!

hey, how did you manage to find out my name?!

anyway, someone told me the caius medics were quite evenly spread across D1-D4, but i see no mention of any in your set?

so you guys (MadLy, Helenia, steve) all know how everybody else looks like already? hmm... looks like i'm going to be quite lost when i get back on saturday...

You told us at some point on here  And you're right, there are some Caians in my group, including a few I know, which is good  Just didn't think to look that high up the list  If you're really interested, pm me your hermes addy and I'll try and send you the list. Our actual timetable doesn't look as bad as I'd feared, though obviously I haven't had supervisions etc sorted yet. Just Fridays are a nightmare.

Have moved into my new room. Not ecstatic I must say - there is some plaster flaking off the wall and I'm still trying to work out how best to arrange the furniture so I can actually move around my room. Off to Addies now - neurology patients to interview!

I think I might know who MadLy is but I'm still not sure. You know who I am though, so you're onto a good start!
