But at least you get to meet Rosie

Ouch man..! And the last term may be a bit more as it's longer..

I pay nothing and even have my accomodation/Kitchen Fixed Charge/etc paid for..

I get £6000 pounds help from the university every year... Imagine had they decided not to be kind to me...

EDIT: 8578.20 include one year's Uni fee and college fee plus this Michaelmas terms rental and kitchen overhead.
ASNaC
What are you studying? My fees are noticeably lower than that... though it still hurts being an international student.

CompSci, band 2. Supposed to be £13,919 of university + college fee.

She's ready to knife me during our first meeting, I believe.

Daniel... Do you have MSN?

I have a fellow Girtonian in a conversation now if you want to join in.. BTW, my new sibling is a vet called Catherine

I'm [email protected] if you want to join in..

I don't, it bad for computer security as it creates a big hole in your firewall, so i don't trust it. Besides this is Dad's Pc and he's even more paranoid about PC security than i am (he is a network manager at a local school so he knows). Say hi for me.

Thank of it this way ... you could be paying just as much money for an Oxford education!

On the other hand... I could have nagged more money out of Oxford than Cambridge... anyway... Think of it this way... There's only 100 compsci produced every year by Cambridge in the whole world......

Yay! That's the spirit!
Does anyone know where I can still find a copy of my original UCAS form? I filled out mine online... So I guess that means I don't have an original copy. Ucas tracking doesn't have anything except accepted by Cambridge... and all the rest of them.

Oh, bull, it's only a threat to your pc security if you're a complete muppet. It doesn't listen on sockets unless you're doing the more advanced things, and blocking outgoing connections is generally thought to only be good if you don't trust the users you're trying to protect . I've got everything incoming except port 22 closed on this machine and MSN (using Gaim) works fine.
The threat isn't MSN, it's what the user uses it for!

Have to inventive if i want to be happy...

Just noticed something. On the UCAS tracking thing, Warwick changed their original conditional offer to an unconditional offer. I have no idea when or why they changed it. As far as I'm concerned, Cambridge is the cheapest place for me to go. (I know I know)

That explains it then, my dad trust himself and that's about it.

Less. It kind of starts at 100 in the first year and then continually dwindles as people realise they can't do compsci and switch to other subjects/leave entirely.

Wow! Can I be expected to know all this by this time next year?

No, the cambridge course won't teach you anything like that. That's far too practical for them, don't be silly!

Probably, i guess my problem is that this is my Dad's PC so i have to go by what he says.
Camford you're an international student? Where abouts are you from?
