can't say ive ever bought it myself but i think the going rate around here is about £2 or so. seem to remember a big hubbub in the paper a couple of years ago about much cheaper it had become.

They are still a fiver in clubs down here. In Castlebar, Mayo they were IR£10 (pre-Euro...) last I got any and £7-8 in Belfast.

Well..that was the plan...but you know how i thought Dell were stupid...well they still are...doesn't look like i'm getting my adaptor before uni....which means i might have to get it sent to uni...and then i'll have to install the software myself...until then...no laptop :frown:

And yes...you can borrow my CDs...although i don't know if you'll like many of them...plus i haven't bought any CDs for ages.....so they're all old ones.

It'll be cool, I really hope you love it. And I've managed to only do one of those three in my first year (with no intention of experiencing the other two either). Anyway, PM me/e-mail me if you're ever worried, I mean that. :smile:

I can always look after another child, even if he is several years older than me!

And referring to a post about 5 pages back, I'm not actually a dominatrix, just thinking the fishnet stockings, elbow-length gloves and black dress could sort of give off that impression... I bought it all today, am feeling very excited (and also very poor).

I'm going to get a portion of Four Seasons downloaded onto my mobile so I can use it as a ringtone. Good idea (applause himself for it).

My mum's doing most of the packing for me. It's kind of done now. I'm looking at two enormous suitcase plus a card board box thinking how the hell am I going to manage to get them into a taxi :redface:

Hooray, just went and sorted out my bank account. It is now set up and i'll have my card early next week (I'll have to just use cash from 'rents for the first few days). I am almost done with packing. The remaining items are:

Clothes
Oven gloves
Baton
Piano music
Tankard (and carabena so I can attach it to my belt)
Towels

I hope that you're all doing ok with your packing. Looking forward to actually meeting you all.

I still have a wash-load to do...so i think i wont be fully packed up until reasonably late tonight. Obviously my computer will be the last to go, so I have at least another 2 hours with it to go....

hehe....well icant do anything about the washing until the current load is actually finished...it says that's gonna take about 20 minutes! So I get a bit of a breather....getting ready to face the music (and dance)

Fuck, I still haven't packed and fuck I have to go out for dinner with my friends tonight. Will I be able to pack in time?

Just need to have a rant....Dell are stupid....promised me my laptop before uni...and indeed..it did arrive....but without the AC adaptor....so i called them up.and they said it would be here yesterday....but it didn't come....so i called again today....and they said..will be here today.........guess what...didn't come :mad:

So anyways...i call up at 5...tell them it's not here....they say...oh..it'll be here monday....maybe tuesday......what use is that!!!!!!!!! :mad:

So anyways....after much ranting on the phone....seems they're gonna send another AC adaptor to Cambridge by DHL.....so will arrive sometime next week.....which means more waiting.....great!

On a lighter note......i'm off....probs won't be back on here echoing what Ralf said.....so....cya up in Cambridge! :smile:

Same thing happened with me (the adaptor that connects to the charger, right?) I had to ring them every day and it took 8 days until I finally received it. :eek:
