I think he missed a comma that makes it more sensible:

That makes more sense to me, it's future tense because it's intentional.

I got this thing at the Cavendish building today at 11:30 and I don't even have a clue where the hell on earth is this place... It makes want to go back to do A'Levels again. That was just so easy, everything's done by the school... Missing those days.

Doubt many of you will get this in time, especially if your week is going anything like mine!! but I don't think I can make it today :frown:

I have to meet one of my supervisors (and gain my third essay title for next week :eek:

) at 4.30pm, and I'm not entirely sure where I'm going! Bio Anth building anyone? The door I found seems to not open :confused:

I may pop in but can't stay long, I actually knwo where the Nero place is (so proud of myself!) as I hid in there yesterday from the crazy rain!

Freshers' week has been short lived (didn't think they'd give me essays and compulsory reading this early or need them a week today!!) but crazy, I've met so many people and I've forgotten who everyone is apart from a really nice handfull here in college! I've not really met anyone outside of college yet (please please let that not be the case for the rest of the year!!) but I'm going to the inter-college cocos thing tonight and the Big Bang thing when can work out how to do the activation thing! I will be around tomorrow evening pub-crawling :biggrin:

Helen, sorry I couldn't stay long earlier, it's all so hectic I don't know what I'm doing most of the time!! Nice to see a face I recognise and know the name/college/subject stuff without having to ask or pretend I haven't forgotten! Probably see you at some CUSAGC stuff soon enough!

Some people can't hold their drinks alright. And some just can't stop them from getting shot. There's no way I can understand why one would want to drown oneself in booze. Anyway, I seem to have passed the initial two units zone. Now I'm in full functional states. So, I can pretty much out drink 95% of the population, obviously not all together. So long guys, off to see Sue Stobbs.

I just came back from Stobbs's office. Having my physics supervision with a PhD student. Nice guy, well, seems to be nice. But looks can often be deceiving.

I forgot to mention that I went to the Cavendish lab this morning to register with physics practicals. I think I saw Squishy there. Simon with the blue t-shirt with Squishy written on the back. I thought he wouldn't want to be known as squishy anywhere except for ukl. Well... us CompScis can be a bit odd at times. If you are like me then... it's obvious that I am odd at all times.

We were going to go to Cindies post-formal (I hadn't been to formal, but my friends had) but when we arrived there was a ridiculous queue, so we didn't bother, went back to Clare bar and bought some wine to take to the colony. All good fun, until someone started doing shots of JD with me. Only I had a bigger glass than he did. And it was rather embarassing. Ooops.
