oh, yes, yes it was, but then I told you it'd only get going in the last hour.

They played house of pain too early, about 5 songs from the end, it should have been the penultimate or last song.

Didn't I? I was trying to tell everyone new that I knew, otherwise you'd think cellars was **** with only 3 people dancing.

Yeah, Jump around, was great, but too early - it eclipsed the following songs. That and I was tired from the 3:30 of jumping up and down!

In future ignore Theresa. Tbh it must have looked dubious at the start, but you've got to trust those who've been before.

It ends up like the bops, but with better music and far far far less people you know! GFK in cambridge!

To be fair, some of your year was sensible enough to stay, though I can't say I noticed a whole load of you!

Which style? If you ignore some of the misogynous and anti-white lyrics, I really liked the Geto Boys. I think Bushwick Bill's "Fu.ck a war" was an absolute masterpiece following in the style of Paul Simon and Bob Dylan (i.e. the poetry is supurb but always takes second place to the meaning).

I have a tape with FTP one and two in my car, though I don't think so much of NWA. (Am I really showing my age here..?! )

I must visit this Clare Cellars place sometime.. Do they allow Girtonians in? Let me know next time a lot of you are going. I'm starting to consider Girton a hub of eccentricity. Whilst that accomodates me perfectly (pares inter paribus and all that..!), I would still like to meet some more normal people from time to time!

BTW - I went to Downing yesterday and found we have dining rights there. This is bouncy as I can go there after lectures on the Downing site without a trek to Girton's annex in town

Just remembered that both Alaric and Fishpaste are Clareites. This makes my question all the more pertainent!

And... All my posts are of higher quality! (and that's NOT a slight at your English, it was pretty fluent when I met you!)
I'm currently suffering from some sort of major speech impediment.
