I did further maths and some of the stuff just doesn't make sense to me...
I think that's more to do with the phrasing of the questions than them actually being difficult. You'll all get used to it, because it's pretty useless if you can't understand the exam questions.

Alaric.
Argh~~~~~~~. Some of the things in the questions just don't make sense. I can understand the phrasing alright (70%), but I just can't understand what some of questions are talking about.

Well I don't think you were understanding what they were trying to say in the tetrahedron question, although it should be relatively trivial for someone with an alevel knowledge of vectors.
i know what you mean camford.....thankfully I have now finished ALL the A section questions....and I'm up to B4 on the B section questions...but i need a break...my eyes are feeling the strain of looking at numbers!
anyone wanna give me a hint as to how to go from |(a.b)| <= |a||b| to |a+b| <= |a|+|b|? Both are obvious inequalities in their own right, but i cant get from one to the other!?

hmmm... this looks like something from my oh-so-long-ago a levels... isn't (a.b) = |a||b|cos Θ? since 0 <= |cos Θ| <= 1, that makes |(a.b)| <= |a||b|??? (then again, i just might be very wrong... never trust medics to count )
and then something about (a.b) = (|a|+|b|)/|a+b|???
(my a levels were a VERY long time ago, and i might be totally off track, but it just sounded interesting...)
erm... i don't think we actually *use* the greenhouse... it's probably the housekeeper's...
now that you mention it, i can actually see your house from my window... which window is yours? (or are you even facing st paul's road?) i'm the one on the ground floor of 4 that has parted blinds... (wave if you go by...)
natscis are brain professionals?!?!?! what is the world coming to... we're all going to dieeee.... (it's worse when a MADnatsci claims to be a professional... tut tut. )
Mine's the bay window on the first floor of 7 facing the road... How weird is this? I promise to wave when I go home tonight
You're discriminating against mad people. How could you?

A cyclist who came up behind them and punched them in the head . One at night, but the other was in broad daylight in the afternoon walking up Castle Hill.
Last year we had the stabber, the lurker, the flasher. *feels unsafe*

Note to Pembroke people (as a load of us Girtonians went there yesterday):
Just has sausages, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, so many chips I could fit no more on plate even though everything was covered and most fell off!, milk drink and apple and blackberry pie with cream.
Cost = £2.68
No offence to the Pembroke chefs but I though Girton food was nicer as well as much cheaper.
Question: does anyone know a heavily subsidised college canteen in town (not a million miles from Downing site) which is both cheap and nice?
Girton may be poor and miles away from anywhere of any signifigance whatsoever, but it certainly does have its good points!
I shall wear my hat and scarf with pride
yeah alright why do you think i have only eaten there once since i got there?
