No... We have reciprocal dining rights with some of the other colleges so they should treat us just like their students. Pembroke is one.

well remember that's exactly what happened to me a week before i came to cambridge...so it happens to us guys as well! But yeah...horrid to think there are people like that around cambridge!

That happened to a girl called Medi I used to live with. She was walking to uni and a local scummy dude (many Soton uni students live in a nasty estate nearby called the Flower Gardens) ran up behind her and punched her in the back of the head.

It's just a function of society. I guess in some way the locals may resent our presence here.

It is one very good example of why I am a proud sociopath.

Can you not go with some girls or a guy to your supervision?

When I went for an open day at soton we toured the city in a coach on the way back to the station and all the students and the staff were saying that no students should go near the flowers estate. So I guess it really is bad.

Florence comes from a few miles from me in Hampshire :smile:

She is well gorgeous (I can even over-look her emaciation on that one!).

A superlatively pretty redhead :smile:

As for Ireland, there are loads of Irish people here all (to my knowledge) from the Occupied Territories and all but one (an extrapolation from the fact that most play Gaelic football and only one has every tried using that term to me - a really tall blonde guy from Ballygowan???) are nationalists.

I lived there for about a year. We had smashed windows, people trying to break our front door down at night. People kicking footballs and throwing stones at our windows, etc, etc...
