One final question.. If everyone is dodgy about talking here and then having this other life outside - is it fair to extrapolate that you are all frauds? I, personally, think I am as honest and transparent here as I am in everyday life.

I don't think I have a different personality here, although obviously as it's not face to face conversation and you can't use expressions and so on as well as in real life, my style is slightly different. It's a little bizarre meeting people, but that I can cope with. It's explaining the whole thing to everyone else that's the difficult part. And sometimes it's just easier to keep various groups of friends apart - for example, I don't really mix my CUSAGC friends with my college friends because none of them know each other, so it would be weird; similarly I don't mix my external college medic friends with Clare non-medics much. It's nothing wrong with you guys!

Embarassing moment today - arrived slightly late at my Path practical (due to incompetency of staff at Wetherspoons  ) so I had to take a seat a little way away from the Clare medics. The guy opposite me looked at me and says "Do I recognise you from somewhere?" and I didn't know who he was so I was a bit "Hmmm, I don't know, do you?" Then he said "You're Helen, aren't you, and you're from Clare?" and I must admit my first thought was "Oh God, it's another UKLer I don't know about!" However, he then said "You're X's friend, aren't you?" (X being a guy whose birthday formal I went to and totally humiliated myself at ) "Yeah, I am. Were you at that formal...?" "Oh yes, I didn't talk to you much, but that's how I know you"

Eeek. Clearly all has not been forgotten

Katie J
You like?

I could not possibly incriminate myself any further

Charlotta kept asking for double malibus and pineapple. Screw that (cheating cow!) so we go her one double (first off), then triples everywhere else except one quadruple... How can young girls drink soooo much?!

I have no idea why young girls can drink soooo much... All I can think of is that you can drink as much as your body can tolerate (the state of drunkness is merely a change of state in the brain, but not body). Anyone can drink. The amount is below the lethal dose (I think is something like 17/18 shots in 20 mins or something). I read something on a suicide newsgroup last year. If you take just under that amount of shots in 20 mins, you pass out (instead of vomiting). But, you do risk seriously damaging your eye sight and all the other internal organs.

Personaly, I don't like girls who drink a lot for whatever reason it maybe. I've seen my dad drunk, and I know I don't want look like that, ever!!!

EDIT: not directed at anyone on the forum... but I just don't like people who drink for the sake of drinking... not very much anyway.

What a weird thing to do.. Why did you go on that site? I must admit though, after being told about it by the BBC website I went to look at the Bigley guy decapitation video. I don't advise it to you all - it is completely depraved and I can't begin to explain who revolted I was. I assumed it'd have been a "bend over, sword (or axe), chop, all over". I was very much taken aback by what I saw - both in terms of how anyone could mentally bring themselves to do something like that, but also on how anyone could physically manage to do something like that. Utterly sick..

Obviously, you don't much about the Chinese history then...

Because histrionics seek attention whereas the people with schizoid personality disorder just want to be left alone and have no attention, complete opposites.

How does that work?

How does that work?

It dosen't. You've got to be one or the other, a schizoid would absolutly hate being the center of attention, whereas a histrionic would absolutly love it. There's complete opposite ends of the scale, so it's very unlikely you would get "very high/high" for both.

I guess that just means that's crap test then?

Not on that evidence. All the people who have shown their results on here that have one of the 2 high, had the other one low (or average).

Sorry... I thought someone said they got both of them high.

maybe try getting some of last year's notes (the relevant bits about cell cycles and signalling anyway, wrt wyllie's lectures) off the medics? it might help you make head or tail of some of the stuff he's talking about.

and i *still* do not know who you are, despite you living opposite me!

Cheers, but it's OK now I've had my path supervision  The lecturer for innate immunity just sends me to sleep I'm afraid and then I realise I've missed a million bits of information...

Erm. I'm not actually sure which window's yours although I keep looking just in case. Hmm. If you're desperate to see who I am, and still up, I'll probably be walking by your house at about 11.15 tonight on my way home... wearing a dark coat, jeans and a blue fluffy scarf, if you can see that in the dark!

No, KHL asked how come histrionic can be high without schizoid being high, when being on the same social axis (eg, attention) they're complete opposite; so they can't both be high in the same person.

At least that what I thought he was commenting on.

I must got confused...

Anyway, are you allowed to play computer games in the college computer room, when no one else is in the room? Cos, currently, I have the entire room all to myself.

my room is the one on the ground floor up the short flight of staircases, on the left. window's usually open, and the blinds are not drawn (i like my sunlight and view).

Antisocial isn't as literal as it seems. It's got very little to do with seeking attention, more to do with self-importance and how people react with others, ect. Histrionic and Antisocial actually go together quite well because they both just care about number 1, just go different ways about it. In a nutshell.
