KHL - I really hate Neuro at the moment How can you say it's fun?
i enjoy stuff with what i call the "oh... ah... ah ha!" factor, and neuro is quite like that, as is path and biochem. trying to figure out how we think, what thought is (from a neurological standpoint - i'm no philosopher...), how we perceive... and things we take for granted, like sitting and standing... how is it all coordinated?
in fact, my neuro supes are the most interesting of the three... pharm's a bit... mathematical. path is interesting to study, but my supervisor has been away for a conference, so we've been left adrift for the past 2 weeks
Pol - I must have missed you this morning, what was I doing? Was I already in the lecture theatre?
No... Standing in the bit with the weird wet-looking tiles near the door into the lecture theatre.
As I could have no possible reason for being there (other than thinking incorrectly that I had a lecture there - or trying to stalk you, perchance! ), I ran away before you, or any of the other second years I recoignised, saw and started laughing at me!
I got out of sight, looked at my diary and shouted some obscenity before sprinting round to the anatomy lecture theatre!
Sounds like my drink then! Does it taste nice with orange juice?
It tends to be mixed with pineapple... Try Pisang Ambon with orange... I have a bottle of it here with me, though I am less than inclined to share it with someone who thinks so little of their heritage, culture and national language...
What does Malibu taste like? Just sounds reasonably classy and different - yes that is what I'm concerned with
Coconuts!
Crana - did you say you were going to the blood donation session on the 1 November? I just got a letter forwarded from my mum reminding me to give blood some time
Hopefully I won't need to miss my next donation! I was in the hospital the other day and they've got a donation thing on the 24th of November. How long do you have to wait after giving blood before you can donate again?

I would go nuts on my mum is she wants to get punctured by a needle the size of a cannon.

The NBS says you ought to wait 4 months. I need to donate, have forgotten recently. Bad me. It's very annoying that the "central" donation site is right across town. I almost fainted once walking from the donation place home.
OOOO i could get the citi 8. or 4. or whatever it is now.

Awww no! Maybe I won't be able to do it after all And I hardly felt the needle going in actually It's not scary at all.
Camford... Cut the crap about that Larry dude. None of us mention our supervisors/professors no matter how smart/stupid/weird/cool etc. we may consider them...

My neuro supervisor is my anatomy supervisor from last year, and I didn't like him then. Things haven't changed. I just don't find it all that exciting, and while I appreciate the complexity of it all, I am really not sure that it's necessary for me to know it. Although the video breaks in this last series are cool. Do you get Prof. Carpenter himself for Neuro? I might like it if I had him. I love my Path supervisor - she makes us draw posters! Haven't had Pharm yet, the first one is tomorrow.
Blissy - I need to go as well, and I now live nearly as far away as you do. We can prop each other up
Poor Pol - I wouldn't have laughed, I promise. But I'm guessing you ran quite fast!
