I'm starting to really dislike this place :frown:

My subject sucks among the sciences (I know it'll be much better post-qualification though) and I'm stuck in doing a damn essay whilst everyone else is out in town pub crawling

Please don't say things like that - it kind of devalues my whole 'life-ambition' thingy I've got going. :frown:

if you mean your life ambition thingy is to go to cambridge

i advise changing it

equally if you meant medicine

and you can very clearly see the sheep through my top... looking really quite stupid

oh, and pol, i made that joke first.

1) Better than seeing your titties (which T4 DOES innervate, at least partially)

2) You did... But I made it better

I don't quite understand but, unless you get a hard on over hardcore biochem and have a memory the size of a small country for all the anatomy crap they'll throw at you - I don't advise Cambridge medicine.

Maybe an easy (and more "fun") science at Cambridge like Ecology or Cytology, or go to do your medicine elsewhere!

I think Helen and I were going on about such dull nervey things before you joined the conversation...

I did not mention your titties in particular (until you suggested wering see-through clothes - and only then to say it'd be a bad idea)

dont worry...it's still good here...especially when you are sitting in a lecture (not paying attention to the lecturer) and you think..."Hey..i'm at the best university this side of the atlantic....so many people so desperately wanna be where i am...and what am i doing with myself? Staring at my feet....ooo look: 5 pence"

Yes..

and what experience is this?
Ask Katie if I might have helped her quite a lot from time to time which neccessitated me doing quite a bit of ecology in particular and I've read a bit on cytology anyway for fun...

EDIT: I think I may have told you about that already...

reading a bit for fun etc is hardly the same as actually doing a full degree in something though. cambridge doesn't even offer a cytology degree al;though they do do ecology. but i would be very surprised if any cambridge natural sciences degree was some kind of soft option. unless katie came here to do her degree then your experience isn't directly transferable to cambridge degrees.

poor him having to have my witch-like appearance with haystack hair and extremely odd sartorial combinations (cos sheep are SO cool..) inflicted on him every day

No, but I really don't buy the "Cambridge is better" thing... Cambridge is different and may have a better format and better lecturers, but the stabdard of work is unlikely to vary greatly between Cambridge and some other top unis like Southampton..
