I wouldn't be stupid enough to post my mark here... It should suffice to say that I'll be doing a lot of work over Xmas holidays and I may have to cut down on the whole college crawling/staying up till 8 in the morning drinking with lectures at 9 thing... :frown:

Yeah, I know her vaguely. Very sporty girl, if I remember rightly. Don't worry, everyone fails some of their practice steeplechases, and I absolutely mean that (apart from one weirdo from Caius I know of). The real one is the only one you have to worry about :smile:

Uh-oh, just discovered one of my medic friends has mumps and I was working with him in practical today :eek:

and I'm not getting vaccinated till next Thursday. Should be ok though...

you could perhaps ring you doctor and get a jab a bit earlier. i got one same day.

At the time I said that, nobody in Clare had it (I don't know if they do now) and the epidemic wasn't as widespread as it is now. As it's being offered universally and for free, I don't have a problem getting it, I just didn't feel the need to go to the doctors' specially. I have a feeling the clinic is going to take ages though. Besides, if I have been exposed, it's too late now for a vaccination to be of any use.
