Hmmm, we came 24th out of 61. Not bad, but not fantastic for what is meant to be a first boat. Katie's crew beat us Ah well, it was a good experience.
Oh yeah!!! NCBC love is flying high in Newnham!! My crew WON the second division and came 12th overall, so beat loads of 1st boats!!! Our 1st boat came 4th over all and the others did themselves proud given the major boat crisis they both had to endure! For someone who's never been drunk, I was in a bad state last night! Sorry to any one in the Anchor, we were all somewhat excited!!

(My backside is hurting considerably today! )
I've gotta give it to you, that's some pretty impressive results, well done! What I'm really scared of though, is how LMBC women seem to be storming everything. Seeing as they're behind our first boat for Lent Bumps next term, and we're desperately going for headship (though I'm not sure if I'll be part of said boat), they could scupper that horribly if they carry on. Plus I know their cox
What can I wear to the Christmas bop tonight, I really don't have a clue!
I don't want to get up, because that will involve packing everything away. Which I don't want to do. Because then I'll be leaving cambridge which I'm actually quite sad about *can't believe it's end of first term already and can't believe he's going to miss it*
Yeah, I went on Tuesday night, it was fantastic! Really funny, and some of the songs were great.
I'm thinking I might go as either a Christmas fairy or an angel. Will go to the fabric stall on the market and see what he's got. I'm going to meet Shiny and MNS soon!

Thanks, we're all still a bit hyper about it all! Everyone keeps thanking us for ensuring LMBC don't get all the titles! I bank partied today, argh, I didn't think I could hurt any more but I do, 10km at least, on a bike, after yesterday, is not pleasant! (but great fun! )
I'll miss Cambridge loads, we were almost crying (some of us were! ) last night thinking about the holidays and how much we all love being here! I think I might even miss early outings! (Rowing is addictive, it's not good!)
and for all those new senior rowers... lent term is a totally different game from mich term. 1. some novices quit. 2. some seniors taking time out will return. 3. depends on where all the boats from your club are in bumps.
but it's all good. bring on some lower division bumps carnage! i want to send another cox swimming this year
