Hehe, no WAY do first year natscis have it easy. I have it much easier. But I never got to choose my essay titles.. :frown: Would in theory make it much easier for you to write the essay, because you could pick an aspect that was more interesting than the rest!

I don't have to write essays... I hate essays I hate essays I hate essays!! What is the use of an essay when you are talking about something scientific? You need equations and numbers not pages and pages and pages of words.

Absolutely.

Mind you, if you can come up with an equation that explains lymphocyte DNA rearrangement in full, it would save me loads of time in the exam! :p:

Lies! She told us that if we didn't like an essay title we could choose our own, or do one of the options she'd set previously that we hadn't done instead.
I don't remember being told that. Not that it would have affected my choices of essay probably.

Does anyone know what has become of the Discount Warehouse? Has it moved somewhere else in town? All the other businessese in the "bit" where it was seem to have relocated - maybe they are demolishing that bit?

I'm in need of cheap plasticky goods :frown:

my friend bought her mum a diary for Xmas from the Discount warehouse...

her mum was quite surprised when she discovered that the diary didn't contain the entire month of march.. lol

That entire block is being demolished and built into a huge shopping arcade by that department store which i walk past every day but forget it's name! Hence why there is non stop roadworks in that corner....they are getting the cables and pipes ready for the site!
Oh so that's what's going on, i just thought those works were there to annoy people trying to get out of the Downing Site, silly me....

I figured I was going to be bored with it whatever I wrote, so I may as well be as obscure as I can and maybe that would make it bareable. It didn't, but it was worth a go.

That's not really obscure, is it? - oh, the joys of Scottish Advanced Higher Biology. We do SO much cell microbiology and not even basic anatomy. Go figure. :rolleyes:
No, probably not. Just in relation to everything we've done so far on the course it's a little different.

O... the one that is also why they have blocked off most of lion yrd carpark?

Apart form the one near argos , does cambridge have any other similar shops (Like wilkos?)

What I want really is one of those small plastic dish drainers.., :redface:

it may not be obscure per se, but to go into 2000+ words on it, you need to involve a fair amount of obscure details, I'd have thought.
yey! more shops. although being at catz and therefore very close to the shops can be very distracting when you're supposed to be working.
