urgh, just got back from 5 hours of rowing and i ache everywhere! I dont understand why I do it! But hey, that was my final "first boat trial" (the head to head as well as a load of mini 500m races we did in 4's) and I dont know if i'm totally pleased to say that I am now an official boatie! I've made it into the 1st boat, and I now own a tight fitting splash top....so in my eyes that makes me a boatie.........what have i done!!??

our captain keeps saying "we're going head of the river this year"....but i feel like it aint gonna happen, we might move up a couple of places if we're lucky....as long as we dont end up lower than 5th i'll be happy! of course i'd love to win blades though!

The fact that the top 3 didn't change at all last year (I think) might be a leetle indication that this might be a bit hard. And Caius were looking damn good the other day when I was out rocking around in my IV.

well we just got results back for the h2h today, and we were beaten by: Caius,
Downing, Pembroke and Queens (although a couple of those were only by a second). Given this information, it seems to suggest we should be capable of bumping at least one place up i reckon! FaT are going DOWN! :tongue:
