    That sentence is clearly a double negative... em... applying the rules of algebra we have...
    I said you did.

    I'm sure that's not how it meant.

    it's not a double negative because the sentence is reported speech and can count as two clauses:

    1. i didn't say this:
    2. you didn't

    that's made me late for my lecture.

    by the law of algebra I did -( say you did -(something)). Open the brackets, you have "I did say you did.

    That last sentence is clearly an example of gobbledegook.

    "I never said you didn't" is different in meaning from "I said you did".

    "I never said you didn't" implies that she has not explicitly declared that you dont. This doesn't mean that you do though.

    For example, I could say "I never said I didn't say 'fluffy bunnies'" doesn't imply I actually said 'fluffy bunnies', it just says that i'm not denying i said it!

    ooo shuai i've discovered a most marvelous proof for "for All x = {camford posts} show that x € nonsense"..... and it isnt exhaustive like yours!

    y = Camfords signiture € x for all x

    hence to prove all x € nonsense it is sufficient to show that y € nonsense

    but [[y]] = true in the model of nonsense

    hence y = nonsense is valid for all models

    hence all camfords posts form a subset of nonsense

    Unless he turns off his signature, in which case you need a more general proof.

    Hey, my sig did not come out my head ok? Therefore Camford's sig is not a member of Camford's nonsense.
