Hmmmm that reminds me - potato and chicken curry, add a few apples in with it - absolutely gorgeous! My dad makes it now and again when friends come round - it's always the dish that gets emptied fastest

That's because curreh rocks!

Tonight though, I had fish fingers!

Yeh curry is gorgeous :p: Fish fingers are rather nice too! - although does depend on the brand...

Something deep fried and smothered in chocolate... reminds me of this ice-cream I had once - a vanilla ice-cream scoop wrapped in a fried pastry. No idea how they got the ice-cream to go into the spherical fried pastry, and no idea how the ice-cream didn't melt cus the pastry was hot... Was nice though - had it aaaages ago back in... 1996  cus it was back in HK.

they freeze the icream ball very very hard, then dip it in batter and fry in very very hot oil for a couple of seconds- just long enough to cook the batter but only bring the icecream back to a normal state, and then cool it again. so i've heard. i've never had it though, sounds sickly... but not as sickly as deep fried mars bars i imagine

You do not fry chocolate!! They suck. Mars bar suck hard anyway. You fry them, they suck even more.

Which college actually allow its students to deep fry stuff? We could try that recipe out.

you know, disgusting as it sounds, deep fried mars bars are actually pretty nice. An acquired taste, indeed, but still nice.

EDIT: this would be useful if you're about to climb everest, say

deep fried mars bars were pretty good....but the best chocolate i've found to deep fry is cadbury cream eggs. The local chippy back in london used to let us deep fry any confections of those sort for 20p a go! And creme egg was the best by a long way!

Haven't you heard of implicity differentiation?
