I've never fallen in yet, nor do I intend to. I'm not sure if it's that it's not safe, just that they have a tendency to come out. Really not very well informed!

a lot of people wear them for swimming but with goggles ove the top, i think the issue is that they come out otherwise.

Nah I wasn't in St. Chris'. My dad moved there about 3 years ago for a year (by which time I was in the UK...) Some of my friends from Khobar (and one from nottingham :eek:

) were at St. Chris' though. Dya know a girl, A. Livingstone and a guy A. Horseley in the year above you? :cool:

The girl was in my school in Saudi (Dhahran British Grammar School...) from year 7-9 and the guy was in my school in the UK for his A-Levels. Small world indeed... :wink:

Yep I remember Horsley...he was the guy who was amazing at Drama...did an exceptional performance in Blood Brothers. The name Livingstone rings a bell but I can't quite place a face to it! This is quite cool, just goes to show how really small this world is. There are a fair few people here who were at the British Grammer School as well... :smile:

Wooooo! Slept through my 9am lecture, 12am lecture cancelled because the lecturer's ill, and now my supervisor has just cancelled our 1:30 supervision! Freedom! Until my repro supervision at 4, but still, hurray!

Yeah, term didn't start till Jan 18th, so we're into our last week now.

Lex - sculling is like rowing only you hold two oars. And have a really tiny unbalanced boat.

shuai what order of preference did you put for head of class report today!? i'm hoping i dont have to do optics, i didnt even finish the damn thing after me and my lab partners spent over an hour arguing with our dimwitted demonstrator about the first damn part and the ray diagrams...and in the end it took another demonstrator 2 minutes to give us an answer we felt happy with! GRRRRRRRR my first 3 of this term :frown:

maybe even a 2!!!
