Camford's Rules on Canteens:

1. No matter how good other people say a certain uni/school canteen is, they still sell shitty food.
2. Bad experiences repeat themselves over.
3. No canteen has a net worth that's more than a microwave.
4. Canteens are always way too expensive for what you get, even if you eat at Christ's.
5. No canteens in Cambridge knows how to cook stir-fries properly.
6. You should always eat twice or even thrice the amount you need at weekend brunch just to get your money's worth. (Not to mention the fact that you don't need to eat for 2 more meals after that)
7. Complain about how bad the food is doesn't help.

My favourite girly film is Never Been Kissed, but Cruel Intentions is another good one (and men get to stare at SMG's breasts a lot, so tend to complain less)

I hated EVERYTHING about the Thai jail in that film. Completely patronising. I was more than a bit annoyed.

That probably was a "Cartoonised" version of a typical Thai jail... no offense to Thai people of course.
