Glad you had fun! We had a party in an unnamed location in the Colony, and didn't get portered, twas excellent, and we only realised at 2 that we hadn't been told to go away yet. I'd just got to bed when I was woken up by the hugest thunder I've heard since I was in Mexico. Much coolness

I missed it too...:frown: I love thunders.
The thunder was just awesome. I've never seen anything like that. I was just sat in the middle of Ashby court watching it fork around the UL. Stunning
We had glorious thunder right down here, too! It was right outside my window and I thought I was gonna die :frown: It was great!

I was probably in beddy byes by then then
I've broken my body clock, I seem to be able to survive on about 5 hours sleep at the moment, I think it may all go horribly wrong and break me later though.

Man sounds cool, wish I was awake. I love lightening, only once was it a bit too close, on an italian motorway grounded no more than 10/15 metres away from the car. Everyone, bar a couple of nuts in volvo estates, had stopped on the hardshoulder because the rain was torrential and there were a couple of inches of water on the road. Come to think of it, those were the worst storms Italy had had in years and several people died in tree falls and when a river burst its banks :frown:.

You should have gone up the mound for it!

Awww, driving off the mound would be so satisfying! Think the people in the Colony wouldn't appreciate it much, might lose a few friends .

Do you know how much effort it took to make this post non-pervy? :frown: And I'm such a delicate flower as well

So was I, but I got woken up by the thunder - it was massive, I'm amazed you slept through it. I contemplated getting up to go and look at it, but I can't see much sky from my window anyway (the hostels are in the way) so it would probably have been a waste of time.

any suggestions of what to do for dinner. I've missed hall thanks to a damn hour ergo and sainsburys is shut. And i dont really fancy fast food and I have almost nothing in my fridge - pretty much all I can make from that stuff is pasta, and being a boatie I'm a little fed up of that as well!

Steal from other fridges
I made myself some pasta. I had the choice between rice with home make semi frozen curry, instant noodle with lettice, tomatos and home made source (sauce, I know), and pasta with freshly made source which will last me two meals. I chose pasta.
