The Queen is no fun... in fitzwilliam Museum at the mo. Expected to come out at 3. To be honest, burning DVD-R is more fun than seeing the Queen.
Why is she in Cambridge?

Nah it wouldn't be very interesting to meet the queen - I'd meet her just so I can say I've met her :biggrin: but I wouldn't imagine it'd be all that exciting tbh.

I just got neg repped for saying I was thinking of running for a cusu position (yes, that was months ago). Bizarre. And highly distressing. :frown:

The Queen is here to open the English faculty and unveil a plaque at Christ's. Then there's a meet and greet at the Fitz, I'm told.

I ran unopposed... Really very odd. This happened in March!

The building's new - it's been open for a while but obviously hasn't been officially 'opened'.

Immortal Wombat: are you at Christ's? If so, there's a garden party going on this afternoon and I heard the students were invited.
