wow I must have done better than I thought....you sounded v confident about a lot of the stuff you answered, especially the ML. I have to admit I was actually a little suprised about your confidence over the ML, because I thought the questions appeared simple on the surface but actually were rather more complicated, and was wondering if you had fallen into the trap of thinking they were simple....so I'd be curious to find out where we lost our marks in that paper (I hope I did v well on the java section, really liked that!)

that paper really really really was bad. ML is the best part of my paper. I didn't actually lose that many marks on ML.
On the other hand, my Maths and Physics must have been damn good or I wouldn't have got a first.
yeah apparently hardly anyone got over 90% on the physics paper...so made me feel better about my mark cos I was a little disappointed with it initially, but it turns out it was a damn good effort!
I called a **** a ****, with the letters swapped round, thereby bypassing the swear filter.
And like everybody else doesn't do that Honestly why don't they ban the BNP on TSR? I find that far more offensive than saying something like oh ****. Rules Rules Rules...

because the BNP is an actual political party, and has the right to air their views.
I got warned because I was insulting someone (who I think is an absolute ****) and that someone had just got warned for doing the same thing. "Consistency" was the reason given
The mod said he felt sorry though...and wanted to rep me. (I declined and took the points like a man)

Lol, Vishesh you crack me up...are you planning to come to my part of the world this summer?

Over 90? I thought generally 80% was about the ceiling, or is Natsci different? What did you get in Physics then Will?
I have a small personal project to play with this summer. I *think* I have recruited a few friends to help me out. But I'm not quite sure they would like to join me.
Patch: It took me two hours to realies what the Anchovies were there for. That is pathetic for someone who's a Futurama fan.
How do you guys manage to motivate yourself for those little projects? After my exams I have found it incredibly difficult to do some maths or read some books I´ve 'saved' for the summer :| The only things I´m currently doing is playing some computer games (haven´t done so for half a year) and re-watching my DVDs and ... well, Futurama

I've found it very easy to do maths. Although I study Classics, so that's possibly not a good thing. I have to translate several texts over the summer, and learn another language: it has to be done, so I simply get on with it. I also have quite a lot of books to read. Fortunately the books I 'ought' to read, are also the books I enjoy reading, so it never feels like work. I have to confess I find it rather difficult to understand people who're passionate about a subject, but find it difficult to muster the enthusiasm to do an hour or two's work a day on it.

However, it´s good to know that those people get firsts :P

Well, honestly speaking I find it rather difficult to believe it myself!
Lauren, that´s great. Now if I only had a job ...
Mmh, oh well, I think I´ll be programming tonight thus saving the good stuff for next week
