Macs are not supposed to fail to boot ... so no need for an error message :wink:

However, I think you can boot from that system CD you get with your mac and maybe it's a bit more tech-friendly there? Dunno, never had to do it.

Btw, congrats on posting about 1/3 of this tread! Quite an achievement considering this is the work one man :wink:

It's in pc world on display. Not a good publicity stunt. I don't know where that picture is anymore, it's somewhere in my piles of backups. It certainly isn't on my mobile phone... although I do have a picture of windows 2000 going into blue screen, and that was taken at the Birmingham airport.

Yes, WinXP was quite stable before I started using Mac OS. However, whenever I find myself using WinXP now I constantly crash the windowing system :confused:

... probably too slow or something.

There are numerous videos of Windows crashing while Bill Gates is supposed to present that product to his costumers. Hmm ... Win98.

I'm going to look that picture of a crashed mac.

Edit: Well, I couldn't find anything on PCworld and google image searches just returned photoshopped Macs with Windows' bsod on their screens :smile:
