excellent. i shall conspire, i mean,um, discuss, with our committee and see what we can do. although girton do owe us a formal anyway (we hosted them last mich) so we'll see what happens. our boat club captain has history with clareites though, (i'm assuming boaties as well) so we'll see if we can persuade him

File systems. Oh yeah... My linux book spend about 10 pages talking about all the file systems supported by SuSE. To be honest, I don't need to know how all file systems differ. All I need to know is whether write(filehandle, stuff); will work or not. The ideal of abstraction is the greatest thing ever happened to compscis. :adore:
