How can file allocation table ruin everything for her? Oh wait... it's microsoft init? I get it now. You are saying microsoft is going to ruin her by crashing her OS constantly and she lose all her work?
I have only heard people talk about computer file systems once ... and that was me with some smashed linux zealot In any case, it wasn't meant to offend anyone. Just thought it was cool.
Anyone who has contact with any LBCs make sure you get the FaT novice girls round for formal next term...there's corrupting to be done
we need a novice formal actually, i'm meant to be organising it.....maybe i should introduce minimo to you-know-who helen see if he fares any better with her than his attempts with your sister

Oh, you. have. to.
If you can get Mr Duck back that would be even funnier.
Priya - I know both our men's and women's LBCs pretty well if you want to set anything up next term.
excellent. i shall conspire, i mean,um, discuss, with our committee and see what we can do. although girton do owe us a formal anyway (we hosted them last mich) so we'll see what happens. our boat club captain has history with clareites though, (i'm assuming boaties as well) so we'll see if we can persuade him
mr duck?! oooh. he's off in foreign parts. never mind. let mini take up lacrosse, she might have a better chance of bumping into him if he returns
File systems. Oh yeah... My linux book spend about 10 pages talking about all the file systems supported by SuSE. To be honest, I don't need to know how all file systems differ. All I need to know is whether write(filehandle, stuff); will work or not. The ideal of abstraction is the greatest thing ever happened to compscis. I want an icon for worship. /me :worship: abstraction.

That's the geekiest thing I have read today.
I'm so looking forward to a potential stay in Cambridge
You don't still think they're talking about file allocation tables, do you?

The lacrosse boys in general are quite a good source of corruption anyway, I find...
It is possible to have more than one formal for the novices in a term! We're going to have lots if we can...easy pickings from Maggie and Pembroke at least.

Maggie... easy pickings?? I hope your crews were registered at birth! We have quite a waiting list

I think I get priority queueing
Actually, my masterplan was to invite them to us, along with the remnants of the crew we managed to corrupt quite successfully in Lent term (who we still owe a return to), and have a really big novice-and-senior-loving session of formal debauchery

Speaking of rowing, my parents did the unthinkable last week and bought a Concept 2!
The only problem is I now have no excuse for not training every day...
