Cambridge Chat (previously New Cambridge Students Entry 2004)

Why didn't anyone quote me? ^o) My favourite was "How many big ones did Ticki raise". But that line probably isn't in this thread.
I just spent an awful lot of time playing some Star Wars game...Methinks I've become one with the Force ...
hahaha, I remember reading through the funny things on this thread when I first joined

Camfo - surely you miss the 'Camford is going blind' jokes?
Steweee - me too I was all innocent before TSR.

Pah, its too difficult to disappear from TSR. :frown:
My little toes don't bend: I think I've broken them so many times...

It's not comfortable at the moment: they make an arch, so I could easily break them where the joint should be, flattening them. And one is, I think, getting a stress fracture because it's hurting a little when I press on it a little. Yikes.

My little toe doesnt bend either. I'm not entirely sure if I ever broke it but I think I did, I didn't bother getting it checked out because it was only a pinky toe. I taped it to the other one to keep it straight while it healed.

much has happened in your absence. minimo has been swallowed up by a macro book. iris, by, erm, marshmellows?! will hasn't rowed in over 2 weeks  applicants (and some offer holders) are worrying about major things such as photocopying facilities and pen colours.

everyone else seems to have a life.

edit: by life i mean not shameless spamming of a largely advice-giving web forum. unlike yours truly

Hehe hey you remember me  (as in, it's not like I'm a frequent visitor of this subforum anymore) Lol yay go go go Marshmellows! Woooo Go GROUNDBREAKERS!!!! They ROCK!!

hehe looks like catching up with TSR isn't as hard as I thought - and I haven't got lost in a sea of Marshmellows wooohoooo!! (round the Notts subforum) :marchmell I've been away for a week and GROUNDBREAKERS RULES!! Yeh it's the group I was working in for a week, with 7-year-olds  I miss Groundbreakers and I miss the team :frown: couldn't ask for a better team. And I'm learning how to juggle!! It's so much fun! I wanna wear my Groundbreakers shirt  cus everyone signed it but that means it's never gonna get washed so I can't really wear it :frown: I wish I brought a camera. Met some of the nicest guys there too they are so incredibly gentlemenly.

Awww that memories post is sweet - although not something I can relate to... Remind me to do something like that a year on for Marshmellow Land! Would be the COOLEST ever to pick out classic quotes through the years  ahh memories. Although Willa you must've been mega bored to actually sieve through all the posts to find all those specific quotes

Nemo... We did Finding Nemo in the camp last year! Mixed Finding Nemo and Prince of Egypt together  And I do quite like Monsters Inc  we watched it last week at the camp NW.

those quotes only came from about 20 pages worth of posting, which isnt that much!
Reply 17929
Me and Acaila are cool  Neither of us are going to Cam though, so quite what we were doing in here, is anyone's guess

lol 20 pages is ok I suppose. Still quite a lot! - I remember it took me over an hour or something to get through about 5 pages, although I read through everything word by word and it was more than one thread

Acaila... somehow we sorta stopped talking and now I'm not really in contact with her anymore :frown: It's weird cus on the phone we got loads to say, but on msn there's nothing to say. The reverse with Monty really - loads to say on msn but not much to say on the phone. I feel like I should try and get back in touch with Acaila.

Hehe lol!

Enthusiasm is a good thing!!!! meh

Anyway I'm using less smilies nowadays  (I think...) And I've never had complaints about my smilies anywhere else other than the Cambridge subforum - is it just you guys or something!? The Notts people don't seem to find this a problem :frown: Although at least you don't neg rep for smilies - I had an Oxford person neg rep me for having a colourful post!? I was like - what!?

hurst!!!! *seethes with jealousy at Alaric's fortune*

hmm...just a random thought...why did your name not get abbreviated to 'Al'?

argh. must resist pointless post in main oxbridge forum. must not feed trolls. must not.

Hehe the first room of the Saatchi was class, its main pieces were Hurst's sliced cow and the birth and death of flies box thing. One woman (having just paid to get in) ran through the room shielding her face with the program screaming that she couldn't take it. Quite why she'd come to the exhibition was beyond me, the whole thing is about shocking pieces.

Edit: London is only 45mins on the train and about 12-16£ off peak from Cambridge. Obviously it's a bit harder from the Wirral, but you don't have any excuses for not going :p:.

My nickname used to be Al, but then came south park, immature teenagers are immature teenagers, and so I got nicknamed "big gay al". I thought "ric" was more agreeable, but does result in some people thinking I'm called Richard. On here it's just A because I can't be bothered to type the rest, in real life the only person who calls me A is my dad.

A.
