Man, you live in Beckenham? I'm in around that area (fairly) often as my best mate live in Orpington, I always go through Beckenham Junction on the train..

they have extended license to server until 1am. I think they get away with it by pretending to be a bit of a club as well. It's hard to describe what it's like, but it's basically a large converted tramshed, with a large bar, and then tables and stuff all downstairs and upstairs on the walkway, a couple of pool tables. But they play music quite loud, and have a dance area with lights etc...and bouncers. So I guess you could call that the "club" part of it!


Oh, ok. That makes more sense.

Minimo - No, you really don't have to take textbooks to lectures! You'd not get a chance to look at them if you did take them.

Anyway - just watched Alien3 (and Today at the Test) and went yatching today (great fun, a dad's friend owns a yatch) so I'm pooped.

I was out in Bromley last thursday. That place seems kind of lame to me.
Bromley sucks. Beckenham is where it's at. (Or not, if you believe, erm, the truth.)

A friend of mine (well, he plays on my cricket team...) is a bit of a chav, and hence goes out in Croydon and places (where I'm going on Thursday night btw - regardless of outcome :smile: ), and said that he went to Cambridge for a party trip. At first this sounded amusing, because I'd heard that it was a ghost town out of term... but no - he went to "St Ives" and it was full of chavs, apparently.

I'm watching far too much cricket at the moment! Go England! I've been home alone whilst looking for a flat in London and I don't think my parents will believe how much mess I can make of a clean(ish) house in two weeks when they come back in the next couple of days. Plenty of cleaning up and mowing of the grass needed tomorrow I think, doubt I'll get to watch much of the final day!

i'm off to canada- not really very sorted...suitcase is yet to be fully packed, washing is still being done. ahh organisation...i triumph at it :biggrin:

mow the grass first thing in the morning, (after half 7 anyway) then you get plenty of time for cricketwatching. clean up at night, stalk tsr in between innings

Oi, I been out there and I'm not a chav.

I did brain myself on a lamp post though when I went there. That was embarrassing. We got kicked out the Ship (Is that still there?) and stalked by Mr Ass.

But, presumably, you were out in term time... though the stalker sounds a bit worrying. Particularly his name.

I take it that St Ives is a small town rather than a very strangely named club then.
