A square cake is easier to cut repeatedly.

So how come Camfo was wrong? Camfo?

Besides the fact that you can use all three dimensions as you described, Dr Wise didn't specifically say you couldn't rearrange the pieces. Then you can effectively gain a dimension with each cut, and so intersect all your lines every time. Four cuts, 24 pieces.

Is durian the thing has a stinking kind of smell?

Yes.

For god sake woman! What do you want me to say? Consider a circular disc of 1 atom thick?

the smallest distance is Planck's length, 10^-33 or ^-34 I think.
crana9
You could just say "Consider a two-dimensional circle"

can you have a three-dimensional circle?

is it me, or is this completely random?
I know I occasionally post twice by myself because I'm too lazy to edit, but 4 posts is taking the mick mate.

That was random. I can't make it work as intended, but at least it's working now. Never thought drag something across the screen can involve THIS many lines of code. I'm probably doing something really silly here.

yeah, well done
Arrr. For I be back at home from Reading.

Seriously though - my lungs hurt from breathing in all that noxious gas this morning as the tents burnt.

And Reading was SO the wrong festival for me, considering I spent most of my time in the Dance, Comedy and B-Bar areas. (Though Foo Fighters were great).
Enjoyed yourself then? Apart from the lungs hurt bit.
I'm going Up North today... to visit my friend in Huddersfield! Woo!
2 weeks more of work...

Yeah - really great fun. Didn't pull though. Shame. I've also decided to get a t-shirt printed with "Steveee" on the back so that my fans know who I am in real life.

Squishy had a t-shirt with Squish printed on the back. He wore it to the TSR meeting last year (and to the initiation lecture in the Cavendish lab...)
