12, 8 and 1. and I have a bullet filter. I'm sure godmode isn't anything new. But I prefer not to use it. More fun playing without it. (I'd like to complete the filter though, bullet proof, explosion proof, melee attack proof and massive strike proof, [god... why oh why so many different kind of attacks])

I reckon we should start a Cambridge clan or something. (Or maybe a TSR one?)

Yeah I tried out one of them, although unlimited ammo would be more fun, but it doesn't exist.

Used to play WarCraft II online. Except I am never good at strategic things so gave up.

I've seen people play CS before. Comparing it to Gunz, I think its control is a bit acient (sp?), although it allows you to carry more weapons than Gunz.

tbh, CS is much more realistic and it's controls are much better!

I think the unlimited ammo one also exist. Probably involves direct editing of memory (like so many other game cheats) on your machine. They probably have patched the client to stop that from happening now. I should learn how to write a Packet Sniffer, a bit like WPE, only with a few extended function like replacing bits of a packet with random data. Say like bullet, I can probably replace the direction of fire randomly and send the packet to random players at constant time interval. Some of them might get shot without seeing who shot them ever .

Who said I wanted reality anyway? I live in a bloody virtual world!

Oh. Don't you dare try that on me. but if you've made it let me see it, it sounds great. :p:

maybe you do, I certainly don't, I live in a real world that doesn't exist.

The random firing thing could theoretically work. Another more evil attempt would be intercepting the movement packet from a randomly picked player (doesn't really matter who you kill, so long as you kill someone right?), extract his/her location on the map, send bullet packets using that location, with certain modifications, hopefully, every shot will be a hit (and of course, you don't have to be anywhere near the person to be able to shoot him/her dead). But, this is all too difficult for me right now. Besides, I am too lazy to make one even if I knew how to do all these things I just said.

A real world that doesn't exist... em... this sounds all too familiar to me.
World of Warcraft made into BBC news today... A virtual plague is sweeping the land
I have a mac, so the only games I play are shoddy little online flash things.

I used to play CS, and I'm teh master of Half-Life (the first one) - I was such a geek - I could complete it practically without losing any life. I hated that damn redux that came with Blue Shift though - totally ruined the game, changed positions of bad guys, etc. Practically blasphemy.

said the BBC: "game characters died because of an infection contracted from a dirty virtual guinea pig."

Are they fancy names for a viruses?

I love that bit in Swordfish where they try to glamourise the virus and hacker thing. And where he says "we need a worm. A hydra actually."
I'd go into hackage if people forced me to hack at gunpoint whilst receiving oral sex pleasurisation of the naughty variety...
