    We had a fresher's tour:eek:

there are stairs in each of the four corners of the chapel, and it's REALLY cramped and quite dark! We then walked from one end to the other between the ceiling and the roof, and then walked on the roof itself! we then crossed the lead-slopey bit on a ladder, and walked back.

the views were breathtaking! Pity that my camera was dead...

I haven't been on top of any roof yet. (Been on top of a 6-storey building once when I was little, but the view on there was *****)

Where can I get earplugs from?

Also where can I get a lilo from? (As in those things you lie on in pools - will be useful if I need a lie in - can go to my living room).
Boots or Superdrug will sell earplugs for sure.

    A lilo... try Argos.

Oooo things look really good this year for ebc men's squad! I really want to get back into college rowing now and see what the squad is gonna be like. We've got enough school boy rowers/grad rowers that they are seat racing the first 8 for this term! Come easter term our first 8 may be awesome: with up to 3 triallists from this year (2 lightweight, one heavy), then 1 ex heavy trialist, up to 3 massive guys all well over 6ft, and then 1 space left over for to be fought out between the couple of experienced emma rowers from last year, and several new school-boy rowers and grad rowers. Man it could be awesome, I'm well excited.

But leaving the bar before closing time was one of the hardest things I had to do

I know, but I think they over charge just because:

    1) it's a bike shop
    2) it's in the city centre
    3) they have over priced bikes
