    I think the directors figured they would somehow be able to hide how bad the film was by giving it a plot so complicated that you spent all your time trying to work out what was going on.
    Thankfully they ditched it in the second one....and kept it simple.

    I liked the complexity of it all, made it something you really had to struggle to try and understand, which was kind of unique for a film
