Meh, everyone fails at least one. I mean everyone, except the absolute freakshows. And most people still pass at the end. It's no big deal, and it was your first attempt at an exam like that.

Wooooo!!! I have like, soooooo much money in my room right now. All in cheque form and not made out to me, before any of you get ideas, but I'm still feeling rich by proxy.

yeah but I knew what I was going to get - i've seen all the prosections before. but still managed to fail.
--------------
oh and I actually worked for it.
--------------
oh well - smallville now. **** steeplechase.

i am forked.

You are forked? from what? A process can't come to existence without getting forked by a parent proces... unless you are process 0 which just come out of existence from thing "memory", you are always forked...

p.s. linux/unix related....

Patch: one of my lecturer said "If you want to have a children, you fork."

I had that last week too, and quite a lot of it was in cash form. But then I took it to the bank so I can't run away to South America and start a new life as a drug baron anymore.

I love the fact that we mention left handedness twice on this page and yet the google ad at the top of the page for me is "LEFT-HANDED.COM"
me too. yay.

I hate Clare Cellars now. Apparently they were too full for me and my friend. We're only little!!! So I am sitting in my room experiencing Clare Cellars, yet not being able to partake.

And now they're playing 'Blister in the Sun' by the Violent Femmes. That is MY SONG. They should not play it unless they let me in. Always tomorrow, I suppose...

*looks childlike and hopeful*

That steeplechase was actually rather nice. A bit warm though.

If you say so! What did you get in it?

I agree about the warmth.

(a demonstrator moved me from my group was apparently too large as 2 people joined us after the bell, so i was moved. I therefore missed out station 11 which was on the shoulder. I have just written an essay on the shoulder and should have got most of them....:hmpf: )

But yea, I am quite pleased with my score really!

Well, they have been shut down before for overcrowding, like Queen's ents... don't want to go that way again, because whoever on the door would get their ass royally kicked. And we'd be in trouble.

And they were full of rather tall drunk people. You'd have had your face continually squashed into rugger-bugger's armpits, stomach and possibly back as well. Or they'd just push you out the way- there were two or three times when Iwas very nearly knocked over.

Moral of the story: Get in earlier. Or try my cunning plan...

This term isn't going too well for me. I have an asymmetrical workload ie in one week, I have 1 supervision and in the next I have 3. This is bad. In one week I have not that much work to do ... so I don't it until a day or two before my supervision and in the other week I have so _much_ work to do, the standard is about the same as in the first week :frown: The only good thing is that I don't feel too stressed most of the time.

No, I didn't go to the bar. I was there because I was staying with Elles post-Clinical school open day. Hence room with headship blade etc
ah right, cool. Headship blades are pretty awesome - if only they gave blades for winning novices here in oxford :bawling:
shiny
I was just a random punter
I always suspected you were random..!

Feel free to give me a shout about example sheets (though the second half of A&G I'm not particularly hot on) if you're feeling snowed under. The first term is always a bit of a shocker when people are used to the ease of A Level.

Next term I can be a bit more helpful, Vector Calculus and Dynamics are more my thing, and while I don't do Analysis any more, I can do 1A Analysis pretty well (the less said about Probability the better!).

I have three every week, four last year.

Ooh, I nearly killed someone from your college (Alex I mean) yesterday btw. We played football against you guys and some girl was being really violent so I told her to **** off. Then she punched my best friend in the head thinking it was me and tried to push her over. Cue me running over and screaming right in her face "don't push her, don't you ****ing push her, do that again and I'll break your ****ing face". I'm so nice when people are nasty to my friends

wowee, who was that?

help i have overwhelming workblock, i can't seem to pay any attention to work for more than half an hour at a time. this is so silly because i dropped most of my societies/going out habits so that I could really go for it this year, but i don't do anything.
Helenia forgot to ban me. :bawling:
