Feel free to give me a shout about example sheets (though the second half of A&G I'm not particularly hot on) if you're feeling snowed under. The first term is always a bit of a shocker when people are used to the ease of A Level.

Next term I can be a bit more helpful, Vector Calculus and Dynamics are more my thing, and while I don't do Analysis any more, I can do 1A Analysis pretty well (the less said about Probability the better!).

Oh, thank you. I definitely will in the very near future (*ahem* matrices >_>). And yeah, you're right. I think it's really because of my bad habits I acquired in the last couple of years of school ... really need to get used to working regularly.

Has the loss of your homework taught you anything?:p:

i saved part of it on my harddrive and the completed copy was saved on my memry stick, but i wanted to save it all on the harddrive so i thought i'd repplace the hard drive file with the mem. stick file, but i accidentally did it the other way around. GRRRRR.

"accidentally"? ^o)
yea, why i would i want to deliberately redo supervision work that took me the entire weekend?

I've never seen her before. It was number 6, and I *think* her name was Katie. She was lucky not to be very very injured cos after that every time she came near me with the ball I booted her. Grrrr

hm if it's the katie i'm thinking of i'm sorry you had to look at her, though i'm not sure she even does football.

You see, in CompSci lingo, accident isn't really anything out of ordinary and therefore is basically nothing. so... in a sense, there is no such thing as accidental data loss, only "oops, I forgot to backup it up before I over written it with an old copy" data loss (and other kind of data loss along that line)
What the hell?

anyway I am off to formal - glad I am not here to listen to compsci talk.

You should feel honoured that I actually gave the mini talk.
I am deeply disappointed that I missed it.
I've lost my key. That's right, I'VE LOST MY KEY IN MY ROOM AND CAN'T FIND IT!

Get another one from the porters... they have spares, plenty of spares in fact.
I have done. See I got sick of looking so I went to comedy night, but the doors were closed, so I went and paid my 20p for a spare. I have to look for my key and take it back or I have to pay for one to be cut. :frown:

How can I lose a key in my room? I had it I'm sure, and then I went to look for my purse, and then I didn't have it anymore.
i used to lose my key in my room all the time! then Tel made me put a pin in my board, and always hang it there when i came in. i always do that now and hardly ever do silly things with my keys anymore!
Yeah, but that wouldn't have worked. See, I had the key so I could go out, and then lost it in finding my purse. So, it wouldn't have been on the hook anyway.

Get a key chain and chain it to your jeans or something.
It's too late now. :frown: It's gone missing. :frown:

Remember to always keep your keys in one same place - like I always keep it in a certain compartment in my bag, or else it's always in the left pocket of my trousers, or my coat. If you give yourself a set place where you put certain things, you don't lose them. I've never lost my keys before so it works well.

Hope you find them soon!

The point is, she knew where the key was because she had it to go out, she put it down for a second to get her purse, and then the key disappeared...so keeping it in the same place wouldn't really have helped

On an entirely unrelated note, I have become obsessed with the word-count button. 1,028...

i see.
the other half of my anti key loss plan is that i have my keys on a long cord, and when i take them off the hook, i attach them to myself iimmediately, through a belthook.
anyway, its all of no use to you now!
I hope u find you key!
