Word round the CMS (maths centre) is that there was a female streaker (yes you read that right) in a Principles of Quantum Mechanics lecture either today or last Friday. Several people confirmed it to my friend (Wrangler on these forums).

The mind boggles (as to why they'd do it, not what it looked like)

Who was lecturing?!

It was last friday. Her given reason* was to that "as an artist" she felt it the best way to "express [her] greatest appreciation for all you guys". It was wasted on the mathmos, of course, who just wanted to get on with their QM.

(*which sounds like a poor lie to cover a drunken bet)

:s:... not again... what does it match? Or does it actually match anything...

Patch: Or is it actually a regx?

It's a bash script filter for highlighting text.
It'll read from standard in, find occurrences of the argument to the script and use xterm control sequences to highlight them as having a red background and white bold text.

Dr Evans. Nice guy who gives excellent notes. If you watch carefully though, he never looks at the audience, but always directly over their heads, and has the humerous habit of when he's writing on the board he automatically yawns. Not actually yawn, but his mouth does the "I'm locked open" wideness of a yawn. Took me 12 lectures to notice it, but then it was so obvious :p:

Come now, for some of them it was probably the first time they'd seen "the female form" without it being a 2D image on a screen

I'm allowed to make nasty generalisations about mathmos, I am one (though not one I just described )

I believe I saw Adhsur outside sainsbury's today...

:afraid:

Should have said hi!

And minimo - awwwwwwwww

I'm too tired. 11am tomorrow though, so bonus sleep time activate!!!

Just awoke. I'll go in for my lab this afternoon. I WILL.
I saw minimo outside trinity today, but didn't stop to say hi as i was in a rush to get a cheque to new hall.

I don't even know what you look like. :frown:
He is really really really tall.

minimo- it was just after 10am, I think you were on the other side of the street being accompanied by someone older? That lady gave me a look of disgust:frown:

(and no, I don't still have pink hair:frown:) [But i did have a purple King's College hoodie...:flute:]
I know what Xyro and Synthenasia look like, and happened to see Synth across Trinity bar on Sunday, not spoken to her. I've no idea what the other Trinity freshers look like (JaF, Minimo and Adhsur).

I don't spend much time that side of the river though. At the moment its either my room or the CMS. Fun fun fun!

my physio testing says i have 12.7% body fat.....I somehow doubt it's accuracy, but since reading it this morning, my shopping habits have already changed when I went to tesco's. Grrr, I want to be under 10%, I'm sure I am, this stupid physio result has put me in a right mood - I always thought my weight was my strength in the squad! And we have 2k tests and i'm not feeling very well, why is it the first day I get ill this term it's one of the most important days in trialling?
*we watch as Willa becomes the worlds first anorexic boatie*

I got measured in a bodpod once: 4% body fat, 10 stone. I wonder what it's like now.

Oh trust me, he wouldn't be the first. Especially if you take the women's lightweights into account (who have to be 57kg and still have enough muscle to race) But let's hope he doesn't!

Ah, yes, what was I gonna say.

I took bus 14 last night by mistake...... oops. still got to the gates building though, and didn't pay for it either...
I have 69 juggling balls in my room.

Camford isn't as tall as my Advanced Physics supervisor.
I have a jar of vegemite in my room. And a korean boy with a four inch knife.
