Hi guys. So i had an interview for a job and its commission only. It's focus is providing the domestic sector with energy efficient products and services to low-income households. Because of the energy company obligation, many people are entitled to free boilers, insulation etc. Now i know commission based jobs are normally crap, however this does provide a safety net with a weekly wage for the first few weeks.

The main thing drawing me towards it is that the products and services are all completely free, meaning it would be much easier to "sell them". Offering free insulation which will save money and reduce carbon footprint most people would take up that offer. I just really wanted advice on what people thought and their opinions.

    opinions?

How does anybody make any money from that if they're giving away their services for free? =S

    government subsidies.

basically under the kyoto agreement major energy suppliers have to attempt to cut down the carbon footprint in relation to their market share otherwise they get big fines

so this company can offer free insulation to people on low income basically ( and i'd get commission of that)
