    The formula booklet has this formula in it:



    I'm pretty sure this has never come up (correct me if I'm wrong) and we've never been taught it. I just want to know what this is for.

    It's the matrix representation of the transformation that is a reflection in the line y = (\tan \theta) x; but as far as I know, it's not used ever and it's not on spec either.

    If this is MEI FP1 then you don't need it. I have never used that and don't understand it. May look up how it work though. But yeah don't worry about it
