The Contraceptive Pill - Am I pregnant? Watch

    Hi so,

I am currently taking Rigevidon which I began taking the 7th of May, I take my pill 7am every morning - haven't took one any later than 7 am, always on time, and have never missed a pill either.

The nurse told me for the first 7 days I must use protection, however, exactly a week from first taking the pill so the 14th of May, I took my pill 7am as usual. Then at around 10pm/11pm maybe later (not too sure) I had unprotected sex (partner is clean, both checked, both clean) so I had really waited 7 exact days as 7 days equals 7 pills right? I also the next day I took my pill again 7am and then an hour or so later had unprotected sex.

The nurse told me if anything happened in them 7 days to go back and get the morning after pill - which she told me I could take 5 days after the sex. So tomorrow (foolish that I have left it late but Ive been up to my eyeballs in school work) I will be going the nurse just to have a chat about this and also take anything that could help.

    Does anybody have any advice/suggestions/experience.
I have googled online and had hit and miss results, some say of course you'd be safe, some say the nurse should of said use a back up for a month, I just don't know.

I am being as calm and mature about this as I can be, so please no comments that will cause upset or anything. We are all here to help each other.

Thank you so very much for any responses.

With that pill, i was always told a week was absolutely fine assuming that you didnt start it in the first 5 days of the start of your period (in which case you're safe from day 1).

I had to start mine randomly, as my period at the time when I was given the pill was 17 days away and she said as you don't want to wait you should take it there and then.
