Once a day? or morning and evening?

I use Cocoa Butter cream everyday, after every shower which is in the morning.

Is it the cream you have or the actual cocoa butter stick??

I've not bought anything yet, was just wondering

For Bio Oil it says that you should apply it twice a day. I've just recently picked up a bottle of it actually.

Ahhh. I personally use both, the cream to moisturise after a shower or to cream areas which are dry, ie hands but the stick I use mainly for Scars. It works a treat for me.

I use cocoa butter every day after showering  and it does make the marks fade  x

what cocoa butter do you use? is bio oil expensive?

Neal's Yard "Mothers Balm" is very good - a friend who got quite bad red stretchmarks when pregnant has been using it and her's are almost invisible. Bio Oil is good too - I applied it once a day and twice a week put a few drops in my bath.

Palmers' Cocoa Butter is amazing, but it's expensive for applying everyday, IMO. I used Tesco own Cocoa Butter Moisturising Lotion and it is just as good! Works wonders

bio-oil is fantastic stuff. twice a day is good, and then add it too your bath too for maximum benefit. its great on your face as well... i was really skeptic cause i have bad skin, and thought it wasnt a good idea, but then put it on one night and me face was lovely n soft in the mornin.

cocoa butters good too, but as said Palmers is expensive. dont bother with a body lotion with it in, there isnt enough to make a difference on stretch marks. go to Holland&Barrett or somewhere similar and get pure cocoa butter. only problem is it needs a bit of warming to melt it, but its great stuff.

lush have got some really nice massage bars with high amounts of cocoa butter in... id get one of them... mmmmmmm they smell soooo nice!

Palmers is worth every penny. It goes up in price now and again, it's very expensive in boots at the moment but I think superdrug have an offer on for it.

I took a chunk out of my shin a year ago and now you wouldn't be able to see it unless I pointed it out

I bought some bio oil but when I got home and read the leaflet it only says about preventing stretch marks, doesn't say it will help ones already present go away :frown:

Reply 14

http://www.bio-oil.info/en/uses/stretch-marks It says here it helps improve them but nothing every removes them completely.
