    Hey,
so i was considering going on the pill before university so i can kinda regulate my period and use it as a contraceptive. But I'll potentially go with a family member to the clinic to discuss it.
Does anyone know what questions they'll ask me / especially anything to do with sexual activity because awkward answering infront of a parent!
    Thanks!

It will be things like family history, do you have a history of migraines, is there any chance you could be pregnant. Otherwise i dont think they'll necessarily ask anything particularly about your sexual history.

They might ask you stuff about STIs/ if you could possibly have one. Generally nothing too awkward though in my experience, though I personally wouldn't go in with a family member!

I took the pill to regulate my period, and my doctor didn't talk to me about sexual activity simply because I stated from the beginning it's just for my period. Claire already pointed out some of the important questions they might ask. They may or may not give you an option on what type of pill to take and how to take it. I suggest asking your doctor about Microgynon 30. It's what I take, and it's great as a starting out pill and then after a while if you like you can start taking a different pack.
