I have 3 AS resits which starts on 27th May and ends 10th June. 14th of June my A2 begins. For unit 4 I feel OKAY but still have a lot more work to do for it but for Unit 5 topics which are my last exams I have literally forgotten everything as Ive been focusing on my AS resits and unit 4 things since its a little earlier. What should I do? My days are flying by I don't get time to do anything in one day! perhaps one or two topics for one exam. I haven't even covered all the things I have to cover for my resit exams. Im just so stressed out thinking about it. Im not even ready for 1 exam let alone 8. Please someone help? How do you balance revision for resits with revision for A2 units and which would you say are more important to do well in? Thank you.

    Hey,
It is tough. I am slightly better that my A2 exams run from the 17th to 27th May and then i have only one to repeat on the 9th June. But I know how you feel. Take breaks, really they help every hour for at least 10 mins- 30mins. do something you enjoy and then get back at it. Balancing it for me was hard but my teacher said to focus more on A2s after all they are more important. In your case revise for your last as first and then 2-4 days before your first revise extensively because then it will be fresh in your mind
    Hope this helps

Hey man, in same boat as you, if you don't mind me asking, what did you get last year and what are you studying? Personally I am just taking my exams on a exam-to-exam basis so I'm revising for my nearest one and cramming, though not feeling confident for any as a result, but nothing else can be done mate.

    Hi thanks very much.
Yes I do need to give a lot more time to A2.. just not happening. I either get so distracted or i sleep till noon. My iron levels are very low at the moment - so I need about 14 hours sleep per night otherwise I go by the day feeling so tired and dead and not able to revise effectively. thank you tho.

It's concerning thinking that every student will have to do AS and A2 exams in the same year now.

Screw that guy who said you're f***ed. Pussy cats don't get anywhere in life. Trust me, it's very much possible. This summer series i have 6 AS resits and 12 A2 units (total 18). It's a challenging task, but sure as hell isn't impossible.

Now im 4 down and 14 to go. (started may 17 upto june 28)

What you need to do is identify exactly how much time you need to spend on each unit and do it accordingly. You may realise that once you've done your A2s, you may not need to focus much on revising AS however you may need to just read through then do some past papers to cement the techniques and ideas. You have an extra year of experience after all.

Most important thing is, get rid of that attitude. It's hard, sure, but you need to think its possible and within your grasp or your panic attacks will stop you from getting the good results themselves.

Cheers and good luck mate! May the results be ever in your favour.

Just do as much as you can. Don't just focus on one subject, but try and break it up and do a bit of each. Take regular breaks, socialise etc. and restart the cycle That's what I'm doing. Try your best, what is done is done at the end of the day. Unfortunately, we can't time travel so try and not to worry too much about it, you are doing what you can and that's what matters.

To be honest, thing I've worked out with A level is that if you want the top grades you have to neglect your social life...

I did 2 AS resits luckily they were both in the same week and now I have a 3 week gap before my A2 exams....

    Just do your best!

I'm in the same position. I've already done one resit then I have another on Friday the 27th and then my A2 exams start on the 14th. I've barely even started revising for A2. Just try and prioritise. Good luck

Gah, I've also forgotten the entirety of Unit 5 stuff etc and I'm not sure what to do about it but I think I've decided that I'm just going to wait until this Friday so I can dedicate most of the half term trying to learn everything.- Hopefully it'll be enough time to catch up bc even though I've made some notes, I barely know anything. Maybe you could try and dedicate at least half an hour a day towards it/something up until you have time to properly revise for them.

ah yes I was just thinking that. I was thinking Friday onwards when I have completed one of my AS resits (still 2 more) I will do 3 hours per day on unit 5 things so its not a shocker of having to learn it all so quickly? hopefully, maybe, idk... D:
