I was browsing the BBC website, and came across this article:
Reading through it, it reminded me of how lucky we are in the West to live in a relatively 'free' society where liberty of speech and thought are basic 'rights' we all enjoy.
It does, however, worry me about the direction we're going in with certain groups of society feeling that we need to draw limits on this. There seems to be an inability by many to not see that there is a difference between freedom of speech and hatred; the latter, which I identify with action and not belief.
