I was wondering if anyone knew how to get an overall grade from the AS & A2 Product design both coursework and exam.

e.g. Is there a way to calculate the overall grade by using the grades below.
Grade boundaries from June 2015 Exam

    http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/over/sta...-JUNE-2015.PDF

    Prod 1 Unit 1- B =55 (MAX 80)
    Prod 2 Unit 2- B =60 (MAX 80)
    Prod 3 Unit 3- B=44 (MAX 84)
    Prod 4 Unit 4- B=63 (Max 85)

It's so i get a clear understanding of what is the minimum i need to get in the AS retake and A2 exam.

    regards,

You should just convert into ums points and consider that:
    *360/400- A*
    *320/400- A
    *280/400- B
    *240/400- B

From your results, your ums conversions would be:
    PROD1 : 70/100
    PROD2: 70/100
    PROD3: 70/100
    PROD4: 70/100

So you'd end up with 280 which is the boundary for a B. To get an A you'd need another 40 and if you were attempting to get it from the two exams
I'd say you'd need to get 75 marks on the A2 for 85 ums and 68 marks on the AS to get 96 ums which would get you 321/400 just getting the A
Hope this is useful and understandable, if you'd like to have a look the mark to ums converter is here
