    Hi all,

Soon, I will have be having my AS exams for Biology and Chemistry but I don't know if I am ready for my Biology exam. So far, I've been doing some specimen papers and practice papers for OCR and I'm getting U's ;(. I don't think I will pull off getting a good grade so is it best if I just do the internal exams? Will it hinder my chance at getting into a good Uni?

I want to study Medicine by the way.

My A-levels: Chemistry, Biology and English Literature

    Thanks

I don't think 2 a levels will be enough for medicine, plus don't you need 2 sciences?

To study medicine you have to study biology and chemistry at AS and A2 and, realistically, you need to be getting A's in them both throughout. Anything below a B and I would be surprised if they even look at your application to be quite honest. Not trying to be negative, just giving the facts.

You will have to keep biology and chemistry as they are a requirement for medicine you will have to bring up your grade as medicine can be quite competitive
