Hi guys is anyone else comparing Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray?

I'm studying Dracula and The Little Stranger so it's the same topic as you. What themes and comparative essays have you planned for? I'm currently updating all my plans to make them more sophisticated, as well as learning quotes and context. These are the themes that myself and my class has come up with:

science and modernity vs religion andsuperstition
    · good vs evil·
    social class·
    insanity and confinement·
    teamwork and loyalty/bravery
    · settings
    · the presence of death
    · narration
    · the past versus modernity
    · how fear is created
    · supernatural’s destructive effect on relationships
    · significance of minor characters
    · power· morals/morality
    · gothic conventions

Have you got any other theme ideas or possible questions that you think may come up on Thursday?
